"Sure,"' He says. "I heard some of the girls at the flower shop talk about it."
You feel a bit curious. (Jealous, you feel Jealous, admit it.)
"What girls?"
Ken looks a bit surprised. "Oh, just some customers." He looks around. "Now is it the left or the right?" he mumbles to himself. Not to be deterred, you question once more. "Why were you talking to them?"
"I think it's to the left." Ken says as he obliviously leads you to the left, question lost. "Huh, you were saying...?"
Ken can be so slow sometimes, you sigh to yourself. "Why were you talking to those girls?" For a moment he looks puzzled. "I was just talking to them." he said. Then realization dawned on his face.
"You're jealous!!!" he exclaimed, laughing.
"No!!..no, it's nothing like that at all" You think to yourself. Busted.
I... I was just...curious" you stammer, furiously blushing.
"Oh don't worry, none of those girls could compare to you." he said with laughter still glowing in his face.
Suddenly, he glances to the left. "ah..um.., oh look we're here!" Mercifully, you've reached the toy store. "Wow, it is big." Ken says, forgeting about that little incident. Feeling relieved, you spot a whole row of soft toys.
"Oh, they are SO cute!!" Holding him by the hand you drag him into the toy store, towards the row of soft toys. You both walk for a while amongst the soft toys, electronic gizmos and other assorted stuff. Boy, there was a lot of stuff!!! From Jigsaws to matchbox cars. There were also a lot of people as well. Mostly couples on their dates and a few kids running around.
"Isn't that the best picture you've seen?" You say pointing to a jigsaw of Hello Kitty. When there was no reply, you turn to see what was wrong. The problem was Ken wasn't there. You look around to see where he could have gone. He doesn't seem to be anywhere around.
