Ken still looked a bit worried.

"I'm fine really," You say getting up. "Really", as you look into his eyes trying to convince him of the pain that does not bother you.

I am not feeling the pain. I am not feeling the pain. Heck, I am beyond the pain.

"All right," He says. Your ankle is still throbbing with pain. All the memories of Gym class injuries come back to haunt you.

"Okay then, let's go," Ken reclaims your hand and walks off in the direction he was headed before. "Where are we going to eat?"

I am not feeling the pain. I am not feeling the pain. Oh wait, this is stupid. I am feeling pain and my ankle hurts!!! But if being able to be with Ken --

Good thing you're wearing boots and he can't see the swelling. While you walk along, you notice all the other couples. Some of them are young like you, others older and even a elderly couple by the street lamp stood, holding each other's hand.

"I was thinking of a nice little Italian place that had just opened up a few weeks ago." Ken said. "I heard the food was great!"

Italian.

Images of pasta and pizza wafted through your mind making your mouth water. After a moment you realise it wasn't just the images, it was the smell.

"Here we are!" Ken announced. The restuarant was done in a style which was meant to look cozy and relaxing. It succeeded. The furniture and decorations were reminiscient of Italy and the only variation that could be seen were those Valentine Day flowers and candle decorations that were set up on each and every table. Soft music could also be heard in the background. "Well, this is certainly nice and romantic," you think to yourself as you are being seated to a table near the window. "Very nice," Ken remarked, echoing your sentiments. He picks up a menu. "We sure are lucky to get a window seat."

"uh huh." You nod. Picking up your own menu, you begin to browse through. Entrees, Pastas, Pizzas, Foccacias......hmm...... decisions, decisions.

"I think I'll have a Napolenta and a soup of the day. Oh and maybe some garlic bread," Ken said after a while.

'Hmmmm...........What should I have?' you think. Remembering the diet you were SUPPOSED to be on made you think twice about ordering the meat pizza. Perhaps a salad will do?

'But I'm soooo hungry' exclaimed your stomach in protest.

A waitress walks up to your table. "May I take your order?"

"I'll have a Napolenta and a soup of the day and a garlic bread"

"Anything to drink sir?"

Ken brow creased for a moment. "How about some red wine?" He says smiling at you.

"And what will you have, madam?"

"ahhh....."

To be slim or not to be slim, that is the question.

You say......

"A meat pizza, with the lot and some garlic bread."

"I think I might just have a Ceaser Salad, thank you."
