Ken smiles warmly.

"Sure, actually I was kind of hungry myself," he says with a sheepish grin. With a firm grip on your hand he slices through the masses of people heading out for a date or heading home for a romantic dinner.

Wouldn't it be great if we could always go out together, you think to yourself.. But Ken was usually busy. You suppose running a flower shop would take some work but a lot of the time he was busy at night too.

Wow. Ken sure could be fast when he wants too. You see him just ahead of you by the neon lights of the city, swerving in and out of the crowds. You're almost running to catch up to him. "Geez, I'm getting a full work out right now. Curse these short legs." You realize too late that you've stepped a little too close to the curb.

<slip.....>

"Umphh..." Your ankle twists in a strange direction for a split second. Almost immediately you pull it back up, only to wince.

*sigh* how many times has this happened to me?

Noticing you've slowed, Ken turns around. "Are you okay?" he asks. Looking down he sees you rubbing your ankle. "Did you sprain it?" He asked, kneeling down to takes your ankle and starting to rub it gently. You start blushing furiously, oblivious to the hundreds of people around that night. Suddenly, Ken being late does not seem so important anyway. He's so Caring, I shouldn't complain so much about him.

In the meantime, your ankle is really starting to throb. You can't walk properly on it now. Limping is the best you can do. Ken looks up to gaze into your eyes.

"Does it really hurt?"

You say......

"I don't think I can walk on it."

"I'm fine just walk a bit slower"
